The Kleinemonde Room - a Beautiful Room

The Kleinemonde Room is one of the guesthouse's Beautiful rooms and is on the first floor with a partial view of Cape Towns famous Signal Hill. You access the room by a staircase shared with only one other room, so it has lots of privacy.

The room has an en suite shower room and air-conditioning, and is decorated in a calming light blue. There's a wonderful oak Art Deco wardrobe (it's twin is in Room 3) which Liz found in a junk shop on the Albert Road in a sorry state.

The room now boasts two Louis XV carvers: rather swish in black and gold (not in this photo yet, sorry!)

Phil's father's suitcase from his days doing the Grand Tour of Europe has found a resting place on the top of the wardrobe in this room.
